Perhaps a recent life change such as moving, having a baby, starting school, getting a new job, or a death in the family has thrown your orderly life into chaos.
Or maybe you're ready to address the chaos that's been in existence for a long time and is getting in the way of maintaining a serene, happy or productive life.
Matter of Heart Organizing will work with your goals towards creating or restoring the organizational level that brings you peace of mind & heart.
All large home organizing and office projects begin with a thorough in-home assessment of your needs and goals and includes the formulation of an action plan which we'll implement together in one or more subsequent sessions. Small-project individual sessions are also available.

for individual spaces or whole apartments: kitchens,bedrooms,living rooms,dining rooms, closets, pantries,storage spaces, and more.
for handling mail, medical claims, tax preparations, and more.
Sometimes our special collections carry more emotional weight and require special attention. In these sessions, we can organize, store, archive, pare down, or create a ritual for letting go.
Once we've cleared your space, we can fine tune systems and practice new habits to keep you on course.
to develop a personal action plan for reducing your carbon footprint. Planet-friendly resources for recycling, buying & living green.

Clean up paper & electronic clutter and keep it from coming back.
Mission statements, vision work, prioritizing and simplifying your schedule.
Organize and prioritize your contacts.
Find the best system to coordinate special events like a family reunion, wedding (we just planned our own!) or job search. Implement daily actions to stay on top of unruly projects.
Before a move, Matter of Heart Organizing can help you:
* sort what's important to keep and what's clutter to let go.
* research, coordinate and execute donation, recycling and resale for what you're not taking with you.
* purge out-dated financial, medical and personal paperwork.
* consolidate and downsize wardrobe, books or belongings to fit your new space.
* consolidate and group items for packing: electronic equipment & cables, household supplies, seasonal clothing, etc.
* clean and prepare items & furnishings for a move.
* close out old utility & household accounts, and set up new utility accounts.
* alert institutions and the postal service of your change of address.
* inventory all home items.
* plan and pack an "Open me first" box with food, clothing, toiletries, and important items to get you up and running as soon as you arrive in your new home.
Upon arrival in your new home, Matter of Heart Organizing can help you:
* Unpack and settle into a comfortable, organized home.
* create a list & map of important resources in your new neighborhood: emergency numbers, banking, groceries, pharmacies, restaurants, and utility companies.
* Create homes for important items so you always know where to find them; organize items systematically at point of use; and employ shelving and proper containers for managability and functionality in your home.
